During July-Dec 2020, I was the Team Leader for the Office Administration Interns at Safe Harbor International Ministries in Fayetteville, Georgia (also a remote internship). Using Slack, the faith-based non-profit organization communicates and collaborates in order to promote well-being and support survivors of domestic violence. My role as team leader was to communicate with team members, create online educational trainings on Thinkific, create monthly newsletters, and edit submissions to the blog. The educational trainings that we created included: Learn Smarter not Harder During COVID-19, Power and Control, Financial Literacy, Safety Planning, Lethal & Dangerous Behavior, Co-Dependency, and Effects of Violence.

I also edited the organization’s website using WordPress to highlight our interns, share resources, and showcase our podcast. I created a page to highlight our new podcast, as well (I was also featured on the podcast!)

At the end of my internship, my team members and I updated the Office Admin guide that explains our responsibilities and how we complete them. We also created tutorial videos to visually display these steps that we are responsible for.
